Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Fabulous pizza! We had a great final dinner by the pool and were so happy to have great pizza and salad delivered right to us. I read reviews that said they were cash only, but they take credit cards. Would totally recommend this pizza to anyone.

No wonder Moon River pizza is always busy! LOL I walked in to pick up a to go order and I had to ask the managers who were engrossed in watching tv for some help. Very annoyed - they turned me over to a hostess (?) who was getting overwhelmed with answering the phone

The sausage pizza was amazing...

Great Italian food for great prices. Friendly staff and clean restaurant.

We never get a bad meal from here. The staff is very friendly and whether you get breakfast or pizza you won't be disappointed.

Very good. The wait staff was very friendly and they gave us plenty of food. There are so many choices on the menu and everything we had was good. I had eggplant parmesan which was a bit on the fried tasting side but good. I gave this place 4 stars because it was not the best food I've ever had but it was very good. I recommend it.

Pizza perfection! Service was fast and friendly and the food is wonderful! My fiancé and I started with garlic knots that were spectacular then I had pasta -- the meat sauce was great-- and he had a personal pan pizza--- he has already said any time we are on vacation and want pizza this is where we will come. Could not have been more satisfied!

Pretty good Italian joint - their Chicken Parm hit the spot! Almost had to leave my car in their lot overnight due to my radiator being cracked and they were more than willing to help me out by letting me leave it, but I managed to get it home after many stop and gos to keep it from overheating.

Food and service is great! My husband and I took my parents here. They are very picky and raved about how great everything was. Try the Caribbean chicken pizza. Also, don't forget to try their beignets.

We tried this restaurant for the first time about a month ago. The salad bar was good but the pizza crust lacked any flavor. We decided to try it again and order a pasta dish instead of pizza. The chicken parm was just okay and not homemade even though the waitress said it was. The pasta was overcooked. The service was terrible. We got our main course almost as soon as we sat down with our salad from the salad bar and the waitress wasn't even apologetic. She was more interested in texting on her cell phone than serving customers. Between the food and the service we won't be going back.

First, I have to say, that I'm from Switzerland and I past a few days here at Amelia island. Today we had appetite to eat Pizza, so I took Yelp to find the best pizza restaurand near by me. As per Yelp, Ops Pizza... should be the Best! When I came in the restaurand and we sat down, I ordered a still water. I get it and it tasted like pool water, so I ordered a sweet tea. Later I ordered the Greek Pizza with mushrooms. How can I describe, I know it sounds hard, but the Pizza tasted a bit of puke. I haven't enjoy the dinner there! And in the end, I'm sitting now with the shits on the toilet! But I'll give two stars, because the waitress was very nice and when I gave back the water she also said, that the water tast strange.

Don't count on getting breakfast even if you arrive before they stop serving breakfast at 2pm. Arrived at 1:45. Gave us breakfast menus then told us we couldn't order breakfast because it was 1:50pm. Ridiculous. Change your breakfast hours if you don't want to serve until two. Lazy kitchen.

Nothing bad, nothing special. Seems to be the spot for sports teams and troupes after events. For my fiancé and I, a 30sh couple, it just wasn't our type of restaurant. Our food was good enough. We had pizza and salad. The price was typical, not a great deal, just okay. They advertised regular specials during the week.

Bland, tough dough, not fresh garlic as they said it would be! Maybe fresh out of a jar?!

We decided to order pizza and a salad for dinner. The fresh mozzarela and tomato salad was delicious. We ordered the veggie pizza. It was really good, but the toppings kept falling off. What we did find out is that they now deliver. We will definitely have food from there again when we return to the area.

Pizza was excellent. Seemed to take longer than normal to get pizza out...seemed to do a lot of carry out so that could have been the reason. Server was on the ball...would go back and recommend.

Best salad bar in town. Pizza used to be great. Now cheese & toppings are skimpy. 50 cent wings on weekends.

Awful. Florida isn't known for it's pizza, so I wasn't expecting much, but the pizza here is pretty bad. You're better off purchasing a $5 Little Caesar Pizza.

Pizza crust was very soggy. So soggy that is hard to pick up. I had sausage, green pepper and onion. All were very average in flavor. The cheese was very greasy too. Probably the reason for the soggy crust. They were short staff too.

One of my top five favorite places to eat on the island. It's so reasonably priced and it's SO tasty. I love everything I've ever eaten here. The pizza, chicken parmesan, ravioli w marinara sauce or plain w cheese, spicy carribean bread, greek salad, garlic bread, spaghetti w meat sauce, sangria ..... I LOVE IT! The staff is very friendly. I always sit outside!

My husband, son and I went to OPS for dinner last night. We each ordered something different to share.....steak calzone, chicken pesto panini, and fettuccini alfredo, all with the salad bar. To start with, the salad bar had a good variety of items. Everything arrived to the table hot and very tasty! The panini was our favorite, with the calzone a close second. But the fettuccini was very tasty too! The service was great too! The zeppolis that we got for dessert for free with our coupon were just ok, but we will definitely return to OPS to try some more items on the menu! Give it a try!

I wanted to like this place, I heard good things about it. We ended up here recently on a night when Moon River was packed. I ordered the Italian sub, and not to get too gross, but the meat was so fatty that it crunched in my teeth, which made me sick to my stomach. I do NOT do fat. Even my husband, who eats anything, said it wasn't good. After that, I had a few bites of my daughter's pepperoni pizza, it was ok. Slices were huge, I'll give them that. Service was EXTREMELY slow. It took 45 minutes to get some pizza and the aforementioned sandwich. It was very busy for a Thursday, so I think they were just caught unawares. All in all, I wouldn't go back. I can still taste that sandwich, and the pizza wasn't special enough to brave another trip. I've heard from friends that the salads are good. If I ever end up here again because someone else wants to go, I'll stick with that.

The best delivery! What a great deal, 10 bucks for awesome entree, salad, and loaf of garlic bread. Add some homemade cannoli and stay in!
